The
Windsor Function Centre on 8 October 2004, hosted a gala
evening showcasing the district's finest businesses at the
inaugural Hawkesbury Excellence in Business Awards.
The
awards were divided into 14 different categories, with the
ultimate Gold Award being presented to the most outstanding
business. Entries were judged on areas such as business
principals, business presentation, levels of customer service
and the marketing of the business.
Childs
Pest Services were presented with the Excellence in Trades
and Services which they considered to be a huge honour,
considering they were being judged against the elite of
the Hawkesbury's business community.
The
entrants of this category needed to be an owner operated
business with no more than 10 employees. It was presented
to a business who displayed quality workmanship and strong
customer relations, has business planning and management
systems and who adopts strategies to improve its customer
service.
Sandy
& Glenn both strive to exceed their customers' expectations
by providing pest control at the highest possible standard
and using the latest techniques and chemicals available.
They
both wish to thank all their customers for their support
over the last few years.
